About Us
We're a family with lots of children. We love to read good books aloud, sing, play instruments, hike, cut wood, build things, grow things, drive things, fly things, learn things, and teach those things to the next generation. We find joy in making things beautiful and long-lasting. We also love feasting and laughter.
We live in the western united states with the beauty of the desert mountains to the south, and the alpine mountain peaks to the northeast.
As a family that works with tools, machinery, equipment, knives, firearms and off-road vehicles and in wilderness environments where there is not always any emergency service within a distance capable of rapid-response, it became important for us to be able to take responsibility for our own health and to learn how to help injuries heal quickly.
Our products have been in development for about 12 years, and in regular use for the past 5-7 years. We needed something to re-attach and quickly heal a fingertip severed by heavy oak beams in the middle of a custom furniture commission project, and to minimize scarring for a facial gash from unexpected collision with a piece of equipment.
In a household with many lively children, there is also the occasional finger that gets caught in the door, and there is the far more frequent scraped knee and elbow that come when children go adventuring in the great outdoors, and climb the rocks and mountains and swim in the lakes and streams of our local wilderness areas.
The more we meet and talk to families around the country, the more we learn of the tremendous demand for these products, so we have worked hard to make them available for purchase at reasonable prices for other families.
Taking responsibility for the health of your home is a courageous thing to do, and learning how to overcome the fear of sickness and disease and infection also takes courage. One of our favorite things to do in life is to teach and encourage other families how to grow in courage, to overcome fear and to live well, so it was only natural that our endeavor is called "Be A Courageous Family."
